Fan is worked in Windows nornal, but after Ubuntu installation it's not work automatically. I may turn on fan only using special button that turn fan on maximum.

UEFI is on(without CSM).

My fan is worked nornal when I start simple uefi shell.

I updated my BIOS.

The result of comand "sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date" is

E16GCIMS.61C
07/02/2014

Nothing has changed. My fan not increase speed when CPU became hot(60 C or more). I try to detect my fan like pwm fan, but my fan not detected like pwm fan.

Markov Dmitri, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available from the very top line at the top of the page (not the daily folder) following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags:
kernel-fixed-upstream
kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested exactly shown as:
kernel-fixed-upstream-3.17-rc1

This can be done by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon next to the word Tags located at the bottom of the bug description.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the following tags:
kernel-bug-exists-upstream
kernel-bug-exists-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug's Status as Confirmed. Please let us know your results. Thank you for your understanding.

I installed mainline kernel

the result of comand "cat /proc/version" is below
Linux version 3.17.0-031700rc6-generic (apw@gomeisa) (gcc version 4.6.3 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.3-1ubuntu5) ) #201409211935 SMP Sun Sep 21 23:37:11 UTC 2014

I also manually activate intel pstate driver and intel rapl, so my laptop became colder. Also looks like that the fan start work normally, because I can here that it's work and I can here when it speed up. I installed thermald package and looks like it's work.

Markov Dmitri, this wouldn't be Fix Committed as outlined in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Status .

Despite this, just to clarify, if you only installed the mainline kernel, not manually activated or installed anything, does the run?

Sorry for status of the bug

No, it's not enought to install mainline, only after installing thernald and manual activating of rapl(it's not became active in current ubuntu kernel) and pstate all became ok.
