viewing manual requires Internet connection

Going to Help>User manual from the Mixxx menus opens a web browser to http://mixxx.org/manual/1.11/ . It is unnecessarily inconvenient to require an Internet connection to read a manual for a locally installed program, especially when trying to save battery on a laptop by turning off WiFi. Mixxx installs a PDF of the manual in {install base}/share/doc/mixxx/Mixxx-Manual.pdf . Going to Help>User manual from within Mixxx should open either this locally stored PDF or an HTML copy of the manual installed with Mixxx.

* What if users install multiple versions of Mixxx? Currently we link explicitly against version specific online manuals. We need to revisit the naming scheme of the local copy.
* On OS X, we don`t even install a local copy manual per default. User action required.
* How to ensure the users get the latest upstream manual after release? We do not have an update mechanism within Mixxx.

We may prefer the online version if a i-net connection is available and fall back to the installed version if no connection is available (which is most likely the case when playing life)

Maybe downloading a copy of the html manual when this has been modified. Then access the local copy when there's no internet available.

Isn't there one release of the manual for each Mixxx release? Why prefer the online version? I don't see why it would be good for users to have the latest manual if the manual may be for a newer version of Mixxx than they are using.
