Bug Description

I am running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I do not usually check for updates, waiting till I'm prompted automatically. On this occasion, however, I did. The updater found only firmware updates (displayed in a box at the top, not where updates are usually shown). As I installed the updates, this bug was automatically reported.

There do seem to be some similar bugs in the list but (a) the version numbers are different and (b) they don't say they were triggered by a firmware upgrade. So I'm reporting this one separately.

I very rarely actually use VirtualBox, and am unaware of anything being broken.

Ubuntu will probably not put a new version of virtualbox in the main repo (because I don't think they guarantee upgrades of binary modules on LTS releases).

PPA is probably the best solution here: https://launchpad.net/~ricotz/+archive/ubuntu/virtualization
