Bug Description

Hello!
I am using Ubuntu 14.04 64bits
When I use firefox with pipelight enabled plugins to open a site that use Arabic in flash Player, the characters are displayed without junction in the word, and in opposite orientation, the same issue happen if I use flash player plugin included originally with Ubuntu.
But when I use Chrome with pepperflashplugin, the Arabic characters appear in the correct way.
Is there a way to solve this problem in Firefox with flash pipelight plugin?.
Example of sites were you can see this error:
http://www.onefd.edu.dz/
Look at the attachment to see how this site appear in firefox (wrong) and in chromium (true).
Please help solve this problem.
best regards,
Thank you all.

Hi,

I can confirm the issue and I also verified that the NPAPI flash version on Windows works as expected. This seems like some bug in Wine, but as Flash uses their own rendering system for text, it may take some time to find the issue.

Hello!
Today, I try some thing, so I confirm the issue of wrong orientation and absence of junction between the Arabic characters is not in Firefox, and to help the developers to find a solution, and to help who navigate to the sites that use Arabic without having trouble until the Arabic is solved in pipelight or wine.
The thing I tried in firefox is to use pepper flash Plug-in with Fresh Player Plug-in as documented in the following site, (and all syntaxes I provide here I past them from it):

http://linuxg.net/use-googles-pepper-flash-inside-your-firefox-browser-via-fresh-player-plugin-tweaks-available-for-ubuntu-14-04-ubuntu-13-10-ubuntu-12-04-and-derivative-systems/

I skipped the first step, because I have already installed pepper Flash Plugin in chromium, and I have already updated it yesterday to latest version (14.0.0.177):

Install Pepper Flash Plugin on Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 13.10, Ubuntu 12.04 and derivative systems (needed by Fresh Player Plugin):

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:skunk/pepper-flash
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install pepflashplugin-installer

So I started from here:

Now, create this symlink:

sudo mkdir -p /opt/google/chrome/PepperFlash
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/pepflashplugin-installer/libpepflashplayer.so /opt/google/chrome/PepperFlash

Install Fresh Player Plugin on Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 13.10, Ubuntu 12.04 and derivative systems:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nilarimogard/webupd8
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install freshplayerplugin

That is all!
Now restart Firefox, and enjoy pepper flash that support Arabic correctly and flash audio video playback.

The Only issue I found in my system now using this plugin is that if you start two video, the audio work only in the first one, but the video work on both of them, is the same thing if you were watching a video in chromium and you start an other with this plugin in Firefox the same issue appear (Video without sound) until you stop the first video then refresh the page in Firefox (But if you start a video first in Firefox then another video in chromium this issue do not occurs, and the sound work on both of them (In chromium if you run two or more video, the sound work on all of them). Another test I have done in another computer with Ubuntu 12.04 (and chromium version: 34.0.1847.116), is to disable all flash player plugin (pepperflash and adobe flash for Ubuntu) and I let active only pipelight flash plugin and the problem appear, the Arabic is displayed wrongly (characters without junctions in the same word, and in opposite orientation), when I reactivate pepperflash plugin, the issue gone and the Arabic is displayed correctly).

An other issue I discover when I use pipelight flash plugin in Firefox, is when I watch a live broadcast, (From some TV channels), for a long time, a delay occurs between the video and the audio, this thing doesn't occurs in pepper-flash plug-in chromium and I try today in Firefox after I install Fresh Player Plugin for more than two hours and there were no delay between video and audio.

An other thing I discover in wine from many month, when I were just trying to see how Microsoft word viewer work in wine is the following:
The Latin c...
