Hi all,

although this item is a little bit older, I would strongly support a means to have Inkscape (windows version) scan and include a separate fonts folder (apart from the system folder).

I am too using Inkscape as a portable app, and have no admin rights on a regular basis. This limits the usability very much for me, as I can't use fonts in any project that are not installed on EVERY PC I happen to work on.

Thanks & greetings,
Alex.

True. This could be a super nice improvement on this already awesome project. Vote +1 for this feature.

Inkscape can now load fonts that are not installed on the system. By default Inkscape will load additional fonts from Inkscape's share folder (/share/inkscape/fonts) and the user's configuration folder (~/.config/inkscape/fonts). Custom folders can be set in preferences (see Tools → Text → Font directories).
