Bug Description

Acer Aspire 5920G laptop with built in webcam (an Crystal Eye). Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon. New install. Linphone version from repo is 3.6.1.2.1build2. This is the lsusb listins showing the camera details

When I fire up linphone and ask it to enable self view, it pops up a window, but the content is dark. The window resizes if I pick different video resolutions, but always shows black. 100% repeatable.

I can run cheese, and the webcam works fine. It will show the preview window, it will take photo's and it will record video.

I eventually re-compiled linphone 3.7.0 from source and this also works fine.

This is bug in 3.6.*. It can be fixed by rebuild with "--disable-glx". But it will not be fixed in repo. Use PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~linphone/+archive/ubuntu/release
