Bug Description
Searchmonkey packaged on Ubuntu, even on the development branch is too old and deprecated,
Their webpage got more up to date versions, and they switch from GTK to Qt, while Ubuntu keeps using the old GTK.
On the page they got packages and sources for 2.0 and Ubuntu ships 0.8
Quote from their web page:
" Earlier versions of Searchmonkey are still available - prior to version 2.0 Searchmonkey used the GTK toolkit, but development has switched to Qt for current releases. "

While version 2.0.0 can be built on linux, it does not work very well. Its nowhere near as good as 0.8.
