Keep getting this error after upgrading 12.04 -> 14.04

Manually removing packages libwxgtk2.8-dbg:amd64 (2.8.12.1-6ubuntu2) and libwxbase2.8-dbg:amd64 to see if this stops the warnings. Will update comments after reboot.

Manually installed libwxbase2.8-dbg (2.8.12.1+dfsg-2ubuntu2) and libwxgtk2.8-dbg (2.8.12.1+dfsg-2ubuntu2).

Seems like the actions above resolved the issue. However the bug is not resolved as presumably this should have been performed automatically.
