Bug Description

Version: 1.3
OS: Linux Mint 17 / Ubuntu 14.04

Action:

- Select area of image (.jpg or .png)
- menu: Image - Crop to selection (Shift-Ctrl-X)

Result: the image is cropped from the correct point top-left to only part of the selected area bottom-right). In other words: a part of the selected area is missing in the bottom left.

This has occurred since upgrading from Mint 16 to Mint 17 (Ubuntu 13.10 > 14.04) ; it's a fresh install.

Tested on multiple images in differen formats

Kind regards.

(Pinta is a great app!)

I am having the same problem.

Since most of my work with Pinta tends to be - screenshot and paste (or open), crop to selection, auto levels, save - this basically makes Pinta unusable for me.

Also using Ubuntu 14.04.

This was fixed in Pinta 1.5, which you can get from our stable builds PPA (https://launchpad.net/~pinta-maintainers/+archive/ubuntu/pinta-stable)
