Bug Description

Ubuntu 12.4 has the problem . I am not able to upgrade because the cdrom and dvd is not mounting. when i insert a disk with ubuntu on it, it runs the hard drive which have ubuntu on install. I do not thing the BIOS setting have anything to do with it. If I insert the disk gparted live it will not run. The computer I am using is a pentium 4. I am use to linux cause i was using it from Linux minit 8 and ubuntu 9 . I also has a BS in computer information system since 2003, which should not be difficult for me

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Hello; you can probably work around this by saving your nufw rules, apt-get purge nufw, upgrading as you wish, then re-installing nufw and your rules.
