Bug Description
When exit Inkscape, I got this message: "Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now".
OS: Windows XP, SP3
Affected versions of Inkscape (As I do know about):
* inkscape_r13438
* inkscape_r13442
Also, when modifying many objects simultaneously by using Spray tool or Tweak tool, Inkscape is noticeable slower than earlier versions - testing against Inkscape 0.48+devel r12217, I experience more lag when using r13442.
r12217 is not affected.

Does it happen with a specific file or with a blank new one too?
A similar bug, when loading the icon.svg file and quitting (see Bug #1333445, comment #4), has been fixed revision 13474.
Would you be willing to test a very recent revision and report back if it fixes your issue or not?
