Bug Description
Package: mpv (0.3.11-1ubuntu1
Hardware: seen on both Intel 4200 & my current 4600 (Haswell Mobile
Using ubuntu session, default settings for compiz
Test Case 1:
intel hardware
install i965-va-driver if not already
download attached teartest video, play with mpv 0.3.11 using command of -
mpv --fs --hwdec=vaapi --vo=vaapi /path/to/
let it run a while, the column will break on no vsync
Test Case 2:
use a 'real' vid instead, have a 1 min ex. here

play with command of
mpv --fs --hwdec=vaapi --vo=vaapi /path/to/test1.mp4
If tearing occurs will be quite evident during fight scene starting around 30 sec. in
Both vids will be fine if viewed in a window (- not in fullscreen
