Bug Description
I am on Linux Mint 16 (based on Ubuntu 13.10). I have a Canon iP4950 printer with gutenprint drivers (Canon PIXMA iP4900 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.9).
I can print a test page fine, but when I try and print a PDF from evince it fails silently with a success message. Following the instructions from https:/

Your error_log suggests that the job got correctly printed, also when I try to print the attached PDF it comes out correctly for me.
What does your printer do? Does the light for incoming data blink? Is paper coming out? A blank page?
