Changing Brush width of Paintbrush, it is not possible to delete a value using backspace or delete

It is not possible to change the width of the Paintbrush using backspace or delete. Only the image gets deleted.

I can still reproduce this problem in Pinta development 1.6.0.60 on Windows 7. If Delete key is pressed inside Brush width input box then canvas gets transparent, if Backspace is pressed then canvas gets in black color.

Now I have tested little bit more and the same problem also appears in Zoom input field as reported in bug 1085680.

I see the same problem is for any other object like Line/Curve's Brush width, Size, Angle, Length. Actually everywhere where there is a number in input field and someone presses the Delete or Backspace key.
