Firefox Dom Inspector not compatible to 2.0.0.6

Firefox DomInspector 1.8.0.12 reports "not compatible with firefox 2.0.0.6 in add ons window.
my installation:

1.8.0.12 is the wrong version .... it should be 1.8.1.6.

what do you have in
/<email address hidden>/install.rdf ?

isn't that 1.8.1.6?

/<email address hidden> is an empty directory.

according to the content of the data.tar.gz from firefox-dom-inspector_2.0.0.6+1-0ubuntu1_all.deb
this should b a link to /<email address hidden>.

After deleting the empty dir and creating the link dom-inspector is 1.8.1.6 and works.

where did firefox try to load the 1.8.0.12 extension from?

this bug was probably due to an external dom inspector installed (e.g. as an extension).

sorry for the delay,

I can't find any 1.8.0.12 of dom-inspector on my system.

i have a custom version of firefox with dom-inspector 1.8.0.7 in /<email address hidden>/
a version 1.8.0.13 in /<email address hidden>
and the new 1.8.1.6 in /<email address hidden>/

I did not remove any related dir (except the empty one reported above) , so i think the 1.8.0.12 must removed by a system update.
