Bug Description

I'm using the HDMI sound of my LCD monitor, and the problem is that when the system returns from a suspended status, the volume is in 100% even if the volume progress bar indicates that it's in the volume that I left it before suspend.

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue on a maintained version of Ubuntu please let us know.
