After upgrading from 12.04 to 12.10 black screen appears

Bug Description

I got my pc with installed 12.04 ubuntu I fallowed the steps to upgrade it to 12.10 after the installation finiashed I restarted my computer and it oppened like a terminal, all I can do is tipe in commands. I have no idea what to do.... pls help and sry for the bad grammar. :)

Should probably Close as a won't fix due to unsupported release.

Radovan Andjelic, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better.

As per https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases your release is EOL.

If you have an issue in a supported release (ex. 16.04) please file a new report, and feel free to subscribe me to it.
