Connected external monitor causes headbar transparent display bug

Bug Description
Thinkpad X230 with IVY HD4000 display card,Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with lastest upgrade,I've set Unity headbar with 80% transparent.
when connceted to an external monitor after system boot,I moved mouse pointer on headbar to click appmenus,then I found it turn black and no more transparent,quite ulgy.
But when I connceted to an external monitor before system boot,It's okay.
And this only effected on the main display monitor, for me it only effect on my laptop screen and its okay on external monitor.
