2. Click on the full screen button.
3. Press the "print screen" key.

The only apparent difference is the graphics driver:

I cannot reproduce it in a laptop using Intel graphics.

False, it is reproducible too under Intel graphics; just by enabling HTML 5 player in <https://www.youtube.com/html5>.

Ah, yes, after having enabled the HTML5 player via that page, I could reproduce the behaviour.
