Hi, in what context are you running indicator-location-service? Is this when running the unity8 desktop session? or are you trying to run the service outside of that context.

Seems this was introduced in http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~indicator-applet-developers/indicator-location/trunk.14.10/revision/88 and is blocking integration of the latest Unity8 desktop in an lxc for 14.04 project we are working on.
