Bug Description

Binary package hint: visualboyadvance

Sound output is horrible ...

Building visualboyadvance with OSS could fix this problem ?

Noticed the same issue both on gutsy/amd64 and etch/x86.

Installing libsdl-oss and compiling oss emulation for alsa in the kernel fixes the problem.

With hardy now, libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio works perfectly, though the default is alsa (I have no clue why).

Not a visualboyadvance issue; just need libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio or libsdl1.2debian-all installed.
