Bug Description
Neither my CD or DVD drives work on Feisty 7.04 although both are detected by the system. I've included the output from the SYSLOG (after inserting a CD), /etc/fstab and the output of lshw below.
Thanks for any help.
Greg
Edit: I should point out that both drives work fine with the installation CD (goes without saying I suppose since I was able to install Ubuntu) and that both drives work fine under Windoze.
Anybody?
When I insert a CD in the drive, this appears in the SYSLOG:

i have the same behavior, using a Biostar TF7050-M2 motherboard.
my BIOS "SATA Operation Mode" default value of "IDE" worked during install; had to switch it to "AHCI" for the installed system.
