Bug Description

Sent to ubuntu-devel:

"When unlocking the screen, after entering the correct password it shows
"APPROVED" for several seconds. To me it should simply show the desktop
as soon as possible. The user doesn't need to be told it was approved
because it is the anticipated action instead of the exception (denied).
It doesn't see very GNOME-like and adds an unnecessary wait."

Jeff Waugh replied:

"Agree, and an appropriate issue to file as a bug. I'm pretty sure Oliver is
still tweaking his lock dialogue for maximum pleasure (where tweaking == bug
fixing). :-)"

Agreed; the default is far too "bling"

Definitely needs to be fixed for final

i already have a 90% done patch that fixes that in a nice way but obviously has
a lack of "bling" in jdubs eyes , so we made a compromise on a 50/50 blingy
thing, i will fix it as soon as the hacking time for it is available....(before
final indeed)
