balsa size of buttons

Binary package hint: balsa

the button size for actions is very large - this may be useful for some, but not for others. i would prefer to have smaller buttons, but more of them visible.

suggestion: add a switch to select between two or three button sizes in the preferences menu. (this is common in other applications).

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta or later?
