Bug Description

After upgrading from 12.04 to 14.04, direct rendering was not working. glxinfo showed these errors:

onli@Fallout:~$ glxinfo
name of display: :0.0
libGL error: dlopen /usr/lib/dri/swrast_dri.so failed (/usr/lib/dri/swrast_dri.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)
libGL error: unable to load driver: swrast_dri.so
libGL error: failed to load driver: swras
display: :0 screen: 0
direct rendering: No (If you want to find out why, try setting LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose

A

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/dri /usr/lib/dri

fixed it.
(Re-)Installation of this package should probably check for that symlink, if this is the right place.
