Bug Description
samba is an odd case since it ends up building some binaries PIE - which we
don't handle correctly (see bug 2303). Turns out if pkgchk is invoked in
"appchk the contents" mode, where it collects information about shared
libraries first, it gets fooled into thinking these are shared libs and
collects information on them also.

symbols...
The algorithm for detecting whether something is a shared lib or not should be
improved to account for this.
