Bug Description
It is already agreed that for LSB 5.0, gtk3 support will be added (see bug
3548).
Adding gtk3 means uplifiting the rest of the stack (such as pango*, atk, glib).
This bug is to track the question of whether changes to should be made to gtk2.
- should gtk2 be deprecated as gtk3 goes in?
- should the gtk2 in LSB, which is currently at the level of gtk2 2.10, be
uplifted? it may not match with the rest of the stack uplifted to leave gtk2
at 2.10 - upstream has this at 2.24 currently.
