Harpia missing Gnomecanvas library on open

Harpia is missing the GNOMECANVAS library according to the terminal window which says:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/local/bin/harpia", line 32, in <module>
    from harpia import harpiagcfrontend
  File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/harpia/harpiagcfrontend.py", line 35, in <module>
    import gnomecanvas
ImportError: No module named gnomecanvas
I need to know where I can find this library and where to install it to.
I am using ubuntu 14.04 LTS and harpia package harpia_1.0.orig.tar.gz
I expected a window to open when I executed command "harpia" in the harpia folder but instead it gave me the output above.
