xfig crashes when drawing a dot-dashed line

Easy to trigger. So easy I am really suspecting I am the last one using xfig....

Steps (see attached snaphost).
  1 - choose the line tool.
  2 - choose the dot-dash line style
  3 - draw a line
  4 - crash (hard, no partial save):

[1] 3591 segmentation fault (core dumped) xfig

Version: xfig 1:3.2.5.c-1ubuntu1
Ubuntu 14.04 64bit

Yes --- I was unable to contact the developers. In the main bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1317825 there are patches fixing it.
If you can help contact a real maintainer, go for it!
