Bug Description

The ganeti package (as of 2.10.5-1~trusty+1) recommends qemu-kvm, xen-linux-system-amd64 or xen-linux-system-686-pae on 14.04. Since the Xen meta-package has been renamed to xen-system-amd64 (no i386 version any more), this results in qemu-kvm being installed even on Xen-based setups.

A workaround for the time being is to install with:
apt-get install --no-install-recommends ganeti

2.10.5-1~trusty+1 is from a PPA but AFAICT, the same problem still affects the latest Debian package.
