Bug Description

according to Bug 607796 (fix released) this should initiate a spread.
Test case:
Open 3 nautilus windows
Grab a folder from one, drag & hover over Files launcher icon

What happens:
either nothing or goes to some weird sort of semi-spread
If nothing then repeat a few times
In the case of later while hovering you'll notice a slight change in at least 1 nautilus window, the shadow will increase
Return dragged file to orig folder & windows are in some strange state, see screen for the look

Doug I already commented on that issue in the Bug 607796 and as it turns out there was problems with merging of branches. This resulted in one line diff to not go in to trunk, thus the DnD not working.

You could see all that by looking at the last three comments in Bug 607796.

I just saw that I posted the comment about this issue three days after you opened this bug.

Also I should write five last comments not three.
