Bug Description
Clean install of Xubuntu AM64 14.04 on a HP ENY6 Sleekbook and update (06/06/14). Installed wireless driver using "additional Drivers" for my Laptops Broadcom Wireless chip set.
LSPCI:
02:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11bgn Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01)

Whilst wireless networks were displayed when clicking on the wireless panel icon, I could not connect to my wireless router. Using synaptic I found the Broadcom-sta-common package was missing. also:
dpkg -p broadcomm-
dpkg-query: package 'broadcomm-
Use dpkg --info (= dpkg-deb --info) to examine archive files,
and dpkg --contents (= dpkg-deb --contents) to list their contents.
After install of broadcom-sta-common package, I was able to connect to my wireless router.
