Error when launching xastir

Bug Description

Get the following error when launching -

xastir: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libgdal.so.1: undefined symbol: pj_ctx_alloc

Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks!

Incomplete information based on installation from an outdated repository.

An updated release is due out by the end of June 2014 due to numerous NOAA-NWS changes. All are strongly encouraged to subscribe to the main Xastir Mailing list at http://xastir.org/mailman/listinfo/xastir to get the latest information and be able to ask questions directly to the developers. 73 de Dave KB3EFS
