Bug Description

libgio is a new part of the glib package, not supported in LSB yet. If the
build host has a new enough version of glib that is has gio support, configure
scripts will find the pkg-config file for gio (gio-2.0.pc and/or
gio-unix-2.0.pc) from the native system and assume that level of support is
available, which is not correct from an LSB build. We should find some way to
defeat this query such that libgio is not erroneously searched for.
