Bug Description
kazam and recordmydesktop are not putting a quit icon on the panel.
This is either an xubuntu 14.04 bug or an XFCE bug.
In previous versions they both put icon on the panel after recording had started so that the icon could be used to stop the recording. They only way now to get it to work is to kill the kazam or recordmydesktop process and then edit the recorred file to remove the extra bit showing the process being killed.
It works in the latest version of mint according to a mate of mine which is base on ubuntu 14.04

Sorry it is not a bug. I did not know that since Xubuntu 14.04 that I had to add an Indicator plugin to the panel.
