installer crashes during file transfer "(errorno 5) input/output error"

Bug Description

Booting directly from USB and installing to hard drive. Error received about one third to halfway through file transfer. Installing on a laptop with no DVD/CD drive.

It looks like your installation medium is corrupt. Please run the check disc option from the boot menu, and/or recreate it and try again.

Thanks. I had tried several different BIOS configurations in an attempt to get it to work without any success. I ran a diagnostic on the hard disc and it checked it out okay, so I formatted the USB and recreated the installer/bootable USB. Worked like a charm.
