Bug Description

6.) BOM cost issue - The issue with the BoM not including the cycle costs (labor, etc). I am using the module from camptocamp product_cost_incl_bom which does solve the problem to an extent. It works for all 3rd party reporting, but the cost on the sales order line is the openERP (standard_price) so the margins are incorrect. Since imported the current costs from old system to that field. I was not sure if we select supply_method = produce, we can use the cost_price field from the other module. Not sure if the core is going to be updated but I need to have the correct costs applied to correct journals also.

I also know this will cause an issue when generating the commission reports since they are based upon gross profit on each invoice. Since the cost will be wrong, this will be an issue. Please let me know your thoughts.

I did email camp to camp on this to see if they have done that to use there BOM cost. Here is his response:

Thanks for your interest ! You can suggest your improvement through merge proposal on Launchpad. This is the best way to go. If you want an advice on how to deal with any feature, please, write a mail on the community mailing list : <email address hidden>

To use the cost_price as default price, you'll unfortunately have to override the on_change or whatever needed in a additional module (may be one by topic : sale, purchase, picking,...). Currently, nothing has been done for that. All those can land and live in the same margin-analysis project branch. Please make merge proposal here as well.

I have worked on this and here is what Chris wants to do. He wants two accounts, can be analytical so that he can apply a production cost and depeciation cost as an income account, then apply expenses to that area which is Manufacturing Coffee, we do have the products in there own category so I just need to know how to set that up
