we've completely rewritten the following
- apps closure from spread
- split out dash
- life cycle
and at one point, i know we fixed a null ptr access issue for snapshots in mir (that was used in the early versions ~5/2014)
so i'm afraid this isn't a very practical bug
I'm going to mark this as invalid unless we this is seen in the new form, e.g. crash while closing apps in spread
