Bug Description
OS: Apple OS X 10.9.3
Inskscape version: v0.48.2
PROBLEM: Filter effects are usually clipped because the filter bounding box dimensions are wrong.
SOLUTION: Inkscape should automatically calculate the right DIMENSIONS and COORDINATES for any filter effect, and automatically resize/
EXPECTED RESULT: A filter effect should never be clipped.
ATTACHMENT: A screenshot of Inkscape illustrating the clipping effect bug: you can see the wrong filter area box (above) and the right sized one (below).
Confirmed. The same problem affects all the custom predefined filters. It is due to the fact that the filters dimensions are set independently of the primitives' values.
