Bug Description

OS / distro: Fedora 19

Versions: 3.8.0 and 3.13.1
 - F19 packaged version simple-scan-3.8.0-1.fc19.x86_64.rpm
 - self-created package simple-scan-3.13.1-2.fc21.x86_64.rpm

Scanner: Samsung SCX-4500W in network mode

Sane driver: xerox_mfp

Sane device: xerox_mfp:tcp 192.168.1.105 9400

When I scan an A4 document, the first 3cm or so are cut off. I've tried a larger page size (legal) but the top was also cut off.

Using scanadf to scan an A4 document works perfectly (i.e. document is fully scanned). I used this command to scan the document with scanadf:

scanadf -d "xerox_mfp:tcp 192.168.1.105 9400" -s 1 -e 1 -o scanadf.ppn

Do you have any idea what's going on? Is there a simple-scan setting I can try to adjust the vertical offset? Thanks.

I'm experiencing the same problem here.
Attempting to scan an A4 document, I set the "Page Size:" to "A4" in the "Preferences".
However, the resulting image is missing the first 6cm...

My scanner is a "Canon LiDE 110" and I'm using simple-scan 3.12.0 under Debian Jessie.
