Update from saucy to trusty fails due to multiple meta packages installed

Hello,
When I launch 'do-release-
I removed all external sources and I don't use any closed source driver.
$ ls /var/log/

The system has multiple meta packages installed which seems to be causing an issue for the release upgrader. The installed meta packages include kubuntu-desktop, ubuntu-desktop and ubuntustudio- desktop.
