Bug Description
Since about may 20th, Chromium (and Google Chrome) no longer accepts the input of the danish/norwegian letter ø, when keyboard layout is danish/norwegian dvorak. If I switch to regular danish layout ø works fine in Chromium and Chrome. All other programs on my system works fine with ø from danish/norwegian dvorak keyboard layout. It is only Chrome and Chromium that exhibits this behavior. I have two systems with the exact same problem. One was recently installed from scratch with Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit and the other was upgraded from an earlier Ubuntu install (also 64-bit).

To clarify: when I press the button for the letter ø, nothing appears in Chrome/Chromium. If I do this in a terminal window, firefox, gedit or any other program, the letter ø appears.
