Bug Description
Binary package hint: gedit
One file which I had just saved was already open in gedit. I was at the dialog to open a new file, and I was attempting to move a file from my hope directory to my desktop from within this dialog window. I dragged the file's entry from the main list of files on the right to the Desktop entry in the Places list on the left. This added the file to the list of places, which I did not expect. I navigated to the Desktop from within the open dialog and dragged the file from Places to the main file list hoping this would move or copy the file to the Desktop folder, but it froze and crashed.
