Gnome pilot icon is too small (and ugly)

1. Right click on panel
2. Add to panel
3. Look at the "Pilot applet" icon

The gnome pilot icon is too small. This makes it ugly when it is scaled up to a
bigger size. See attatchment below.

This is Hoary with 2.0.12-1.1ubuntu1.

I understand that this is an upstream issue but it has been seven months since
it was filed with GNOME and there have been no results. The icon is still
present in Breezy Colony 3 and it looks terrible. Are there no alternative icons
that could be used?

     - change the icon to use (Ubuntu: #6853).

I'm using Breezy Badger with all updates as of today and the old icon is still
present. When will the update be visible?

There was an issue with the previous upload, that's fixed now:
