This message appears when you first launch Transmission (transmission-gtk) on Ubuntu 14.04.

On a French Ubuntu, this message should not be in English but translated in French.

The rest of the GUI is indeed in French.

In my language Dutch this message appears translated.
Furthermore the French translation for this string is part of 2.82
Is this still an issue, you can easily test with the guest session login for first time launch.
