Bug Description
We have seen some strange behaviour under Windows 8/8.1. The Windows power management seems to have some problems. Even if the display settings in the power profile are set to never turn off, the display still turns off sometimes. If an application is using SetThreadExecut

I think this issue can be resolved by turning off the hard drive power saving and disable hibernate mode.
