Bug Description

I have a 8 hour recording which seems to play fine once if I click any where and press play. If I stop the playback and I zoom out and place the marker somwhere else and press play audacity seems to suffer from a snd_pcm_recover under run and the sound sounds streched with a few seconds of playback which results in audacity showing that the recording is in its first minute after playback, say 5 seconds after plyback has started again. If I pause the playback and resume playback, Audacity continues with the above. If I stop playback Audacity crashes with ../nptl/pthread_mutex_lock.c:359: __pthread_mutex_lock_full: Assertion `robust || (oldval & 0x40000000) == 0' failed.

I have tried extracting 2 hours from the 8 hour recording and saved that as a seperate Audacity Project and I still get the crash mentioned above.

Running audacity from the command line and repeating the above, I get a few errors on startup and the above problem errors on the CLI (see attached CLI error messags.txt)

I am able to reproduce this all the time, so I am going to see if I can get more debugging information to resolve this.
