Locking the screen over lxpanel results in an error

Bug Description
I'm using Ubuntu 14.10 dev with lxde-common 0.5.0-4ubuntu4 and xscreensaver 5.26-1ubuntu1 and after upgrading xscreensaver from version 5.15 to 5.26 I'm noticing that locking over lxpanel does make some problems. Here is my panel entry:

I don't know where the problem lies, but it's not in xscreensaver. Something, possibly your panel, is holding the mouse grabbed. There is no way for xscreensaver to function if it can't get a mouse grab.
