Bug Description

When selecting multiple folders with locations including japanese characters and opening the properties dialogue, combined size and number of files included fluctuate.

For example, the first second it shows "600 items, totalling 7 GB", the next shows "520 items, totalling 6.2 GB", and the next after that is different as well.

With the variety of folders I've tested, it only occurs when the selection includes japanese, chinese, or any other non-english characters.

Update: The nemo manager does not have this issue.

* Is this reproducible?
* If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?
* Is that still an issue in newer Ubuntu versions?
