On the console I get the error "2:3:1: can not set freq 16000 to exp 0x86". As far as bug "567565" tells me, it might be related to my Logitech webcam.

Ben, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. As per http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4305#bios an update to your BIOS is available (F4). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful.
